The Sioux Valley Cooperative was established on February 10, 1956 when a group of Watertown locals met with one common goal – to form a cooperative oil company. In their first year of business, the cooperative had one location, two trucks and 580 patrons.
Today, Sioux Valley Cooperative employs about 30 full-time employees and 20 part-time. The company offers farms, homes and businesses reliable energy, agricultural and convenience products through it’s network of eight locations across central and Eastern South Dakota.
